An independent publishing house founded in 2009, AGUA publishes and distributes works by authors and artists, from coffee table books to short monographs. It focusses on projects that lay on the fringes of the so-called ‘modern’ flows and traditional publishing trends.
AGUA sees its publishing work as an artistic practice and as a bridge between alternative circles and the art world. It attaches particular importance to the handcrafted production of its volumes. AGUA organises events at various cultural venues to promote its collective of artists.
